Help needed with slippy shower tray

Postby johnincrete » Wed May 05, 2021 9:34 am

The apartment I live in is old so the shower tray is the old white porcelain type. I don't know whether it has got slippy over time or it is me getting less steady on my feet but I dread slipping and falling and being unable to seek help.
There are several options on sale that say they eliminate slipperiness. To help me get something that actually works, if anyone has solved the problem and can testify from personal experience, I will be glad to hear what you did. Please note, replacing the tray is a last resort although if anyone can personally recommend a make and model, please let me know.

Thanks in advance

John

I can't personally recommend a make and model, John, but in the past I have used a rubber mat with suction caps on the under side, and found it very effective. Might you find something like this locally?

Google "non slip tape boat" or "anti slip tape" or "grip tape" etc
